Internship summer 2016

I would
like to talk about my internship I did for the past two months. Because I was a
bit late with searching for a place to do my internship I took what I got –
this was the Falstaff restaurant in Casino Bregenz. It didn’t look too bad in
general, it’s not too far from where I live, has a good reputation and I even
knew an apprentice before.
When I
arrived there it wasn’t really as it seemed. Unorganised staff organisation,
very inconvenient working times, and you have about 10 bosses over you who all
think they have to tell you how to do your work.
But all together
it was ok to me I was treated as a normal Team member – means the work was as
hard as a normal team members work but also I was given as much responsibility
as any other team member. It was very interesting to see what it’s like to be
part of the service in a restaurant like this, after that I can definitely tell
that this won’t be what I will do in future.
After all it was a tough but instructive
time.
