Hey Guys,
Lately we watched the film "A long way to freedom" in our English lesson. The film is about Nelson Mandela and his life. It is a very interesting film, because you get a better impression from the way how blacks were treated in their own country and the long and hard way to the improvement.
The scene we liked most in the film is a very impressive one. You see black people fighting because some of them want to live in freedom with the white people. The others want to fight against them and want that the whites to suffer as they did. Everywhere on the dirty streets are hurt or even dead people lying.
But what is the most
powerful in this scene is a little girl watching outside the window and see all
the people fighting and shouting. You can see exactly that the girl was crying
before.
Even today we have similar problems for example in Mozambique where the people fear a new civil war because of a political chaos. The consequence is that every day lots of people flee to Malawi.
That's very similar to the refugees crisis we have in Europe since last year. In Syria every day hundreds
and thousands of people, have to watch how their family and neighbours are
killed and hurt.
