In the last
few English lessons at school, we watched the movie “A long walk to freedom”.
This movie is about Nelson Mandela’s life. We want to share our thoughts about
the movie.
The most
important scene for us is the one when Nelson Mandela was told to talk to the
peoples straight after he became President. In the scene, the officers told
Mandela he should talk to his people. So, he went through the parliament until
he could see the crowd cheering and waiting for him. We think this scene is so
moving because he has gone through so much (prison,…) but in the end, you could
see, that he were full of pride and happiness.
This scene
reminded us of the situations many women have to life with all over the earth.
On the one hand, many women are treated unfair because it is tradition and on
the other hand, it is at the job market. Most of the women cannot change
anything at the situation.
However,
have a nice day.
Julia and
Katharina
