Hey
bloggers!
At the last
few English lessons, we watched the movie "A long walk to freedom" in
our class. The film acts from the freedom fighter Nelson Mandela and his
life.
We think the most powerful moment in the film
was, when Mister Mandela became president of South Africa. The scene was at the
end of the movie and was very pleasant. Nelson Mandela present himself as
president and was proud of his title now. One day Nelson was in the house of the
government of South Africa. Suddenly a man came into his office an ask him to
come with him. When Mister Mandela leave the room, he heard loud noises in
front of the house. As he went to the open balcony door, there were the whole people
of the town and cheered. There are also problems in our country. For example, many immigrants haven’t the same rights as people they are born in Austria. The result is that immigrant groups make protests and fight also for their rights.
Good afternoon and best regards,
Anna and Verena
