Hi
everybody,
Today I
want to share my thoughts with you about the film “Nelson Mandela” which was
very impressive for me.
I
especially want to talk about that one scene, which comes to my mind when I
think of the film. It was that one moment when Nelson Mandela was told to come
forward to the balcony. Mandela, who has just became President, was sitting
there on his chair in the president room when the officers requested him to
talk to the people waiting outside. So he went on through the parliament until
he reached the point where he saw the whole crowd cheering at him. I think this
scene was so moving because he was released from the pain and the pressure at
this very moment. But not only the acting but also the cinematography was just
awesome.
Today,
blacks are not discriminated anymore, but still we have to deal with similar
problems. There are many peoples, for example the indigenous peoples, who do
not have any right to vote or to say something. That’s a really pity because I
think the humans should have learned from such bad times in the past.
Let’s
things will go on changing the next 50 years too so one day everyone can live
in peace and freedom.
Have a nice
day everybody!
Dave
Great work, David! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's not a necessary comment! ;) But at least you tried :)
DeleteNina and Corina find this scene very impressive too. I agree with you, it is definitely one of the most powerful parts of the film.
ReplyDeleteThanks everybody. I do not take these comments for granted!!!
