My internship - and my new enemies

Internships should be fun. You should meet new friends and not new enemies. Well that is how it supposed to be. Let’s have some throwbacks of my extraordinary internship:

Kind of everything happened while our stay in Caorle.

The bad things started happening during our journey. Katharina’s suitcase broke in Venice. Her whole stuff was scattered in the whole area of the train-station. A real mess!

Lucky us we met a quite nice taxi-driver who took us to our hotel. There we met our new colleagues and everything seemed to work out at the end.

One night some tini guests had been visiting us and we spent our morning with scratching mosquito bites. Mine turned out as big as a tennis ball that I had to go to the doctor. I should be lucky that I don’t have any blood poisoning, they told me. Well for sure I’m happy that I’m not dead but not having these red eruptions on my skin would be more comfortable and less itchy.

A lot of those insects die, when it rains. Gladly every second week the sun hide herself behind the clouds. One time we forgot to close our room’s window. The bedroom was filled with water and so Katharina’s and my laptops. They were soaking wet. Even Katharina’s bed so she must sleep on the floor for one night. Our worst fear was, that we won’t be able to switch them on. Fortunately, they weren’t broken and we could learn for our exams and watch game of thrones.

A lot more happened these days but I these are stories for other days.

See you Judy
