Pyjamaparty with our personal manager

Hi Guys!

How are you? Did you have a great summer? We had a very great summer in Ireland and met lots of friendly people.

We, Lara and Anna-Lena, worked in the five-star hotel Glenlo Abbey in Galway. We stayed at a very friendly host family in Moycullen, a little village 15 minutes away from our hotel.

Two facts to understand our story: Our personal manager, Michael (you can see him in the picture), is the brother from our host father Declan. Declan have about 120 budgerigar in his garden.

One day our host family went to a wedding out of Galway. So, they didn’t sleep at home at night. Lara and I were very happy to be alone at home. But easy come easy go ☹!

We planed the perfect evening. So far so good, we went to the city and bought some food and drinks for us. Suddenly the doorbell rang and Michael (OUR PERSONAL MANAGER) stood outside the door. We were shocked! First, we thought that he just will feed the birds. But then Lara saw that he had a bag with his pyjama in his hand. He wanted to stay at our home for the night! We thought it is a joke. But Michael said that he had the responsibility for us and didn’t want to leave us alone at home. So, we drank some drinks and ate our food with Michael, our Boss. After our dinner he went to the living room and switched on the TV. About 5 minutes later he slept very well on the couch and we enjoyed our nice evening (not) alone in our Irish home.
