I'm going to tell you a bit from my internship at the "Gütle" in Dornbirn-enjoy!
I have never known how stupid
people can be. „Excuse me madam, there's no toilet in your restaurant?”
“Oh no I’m sorry Sir, we all go into the wood to the big old tree on the left
side”. I had conversations like these every single day. People don’t open their
eyes. We have had a big toilet sign “to the toilets”. If you have to explain
the same every two second, believe me you go crazy.
Once, I had a table with four
businessmen. They ordered a Spanish red wine. So I presented the wine to the
self-professed wine connoisseur. I did my presentation but that man just
interrupted me, grabbed the wine bottle out of my hands and said “let an expert
explain the wine to the others!” You can imagine how angry I was. From that
time I hated him so much. He gave me the bottle back to open it for them. As I
pulled out the cork from the wine bottle, I smelt that the wine wasn’t good any
more. But I was sure, he would not recognize the defective taste. So I gave him
a bit of the wine to try it. “Oh this wine is perfect, please pour my colleague
some wine!” Can you imagine how hard I laughed internally.😂😂😂
